For those of you who don’t know, I’m somewhat of an animal lover, or to put it another way…I am a lover of animals. Make sense? Good. Well, anyway….driving to work this morning, with the sun rising and shining through the smog on the highway, brightening everyone’s otherwise miserable lives while they trudge to their offices and cubicles to collect paltry salaries barely above minimum wage, I saw something amazing that made me stop my car on an entry ramp to a major highway in the middle of traffic all worth it….a Bald Eagle soaring high slowly gliding across the sky…kinda neat how I rhymed that part there.
Well, I spent many hours glued to my computer over the spring and summer this year watching the bald eagle project or whatever it was called online, it was some webcam of a nest of eagle parents and their eaglets, I got to watch countless hours of feeding and fledging. I have never before seen one in the wild, free as a bird, and today well….I’m teary just writing about it.
So I hope you can all appreciate nature today, maybe you too can catch a glimpse of these beautiful flying swans in the sky, but they’re not swans at all, they’re eagles. Bald. But not really.
Here’s one now…
